Privacy policy
Effective as of November 1, 2026.
This translation is provided for convenience. The governing version is the policy in Spanish, written under Argentine law (Law 25,326).
This policy explains what personal data Meltia · Digital Solutions (“Meltia”) handles when you visit meltia.ai, when you book a meeting with us, when you fill in one of our forms on LinkedIn and when a member of our team uses our internal tools. We wrote it to be understood: if anything is unclear, write to hola@meltia.ai.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Meltia · Digital Solutions, based in the Argentine Republic. Once the company is incorporated, we will add its legal name, tax ID (CUIT) and address here. Contact for anything related to your data: hola@meltia.ai.
What data we handle and why
- When you book a meeting: your name, your email and, if you fill them in, your company, your phone number and what you tell us about the meeting topic. We use them to create the meeting, send you the invite with the video call link, prepare it and, if you are interested, continue the sales conversation. We also log the IP address the booking was made from, only to prevent abuse (for example, automated or bulk bookings).
- When you fill in a Meltia form on LinkedIn (for example, to request a demo): your name, your email, your company, your job title, your phone number and the answers you give in the form. We use them only to contact you and arrange a meeting. LinkedIn passes them to us when you submit the form; what LinkedIn does with them on its own platform is governed by LinkedIn's own privacy policy.
- When you write to us by email or on LinkedIn: whatever you send us, so we can reply.
- When you browse the site: usage data (pages visited, buttons tapped, device type, approximate country) through Google Analytics, which uses cookies, to learn which parts of the site are useful and which are not. We do not use it for advertising or to build profiles of people.
We do not ask for sensitive data and we do not make automated decisions about you with this data.
Who they are shared with
We do not sell or rent personal data. To operate we use these providers, which process it on our behalf:
- Google (Google Calendar and Google Meet): where the meeting is created and where the invite is sent from. Also Google Analytics, for the site statistics.
- Cloudflare: hosts the site, protects it and checks that whoever books is not a bot (Cloudflare Turnstile).
- LinkedIn: where you fill in our forms and where we receive those answers from.
- Server providers where our internal tools run, including the record of booked meetings.
Some of these providers process data outside Argentina.
The Meltia team sees your contact details and what you wrote when booking or in the LinkedIn form.
How long we keep it
We keep meeting data, and the data we receive through a LinkedIn form, for as long as it is needed for the sales conversation, or until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access your data —including what reached us through a LinkedIn form—, correct it, update it or delete it, by writing to hola@meltia.ai. We reply within the deadlines of Law 25,326 (ten calendar days for access and five business days for correction or deletion).
The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as set out in article 14, subsection 3 of Law No. 25,326. The AGENCIA DE ACCESO A LA INFORMACIÓN PÚBLICA (Argentina's Agency for Access to Public Information), as the Supervisory Authority of Law No. 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims filed by those whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the personal data protection rules in force.
Our internal tools and Google data
The Meltia team uses an internal tool (Meltia Hub) that, with each member's express permission, connects to their Google account for two things:
- Knowing whether they are free or busy (calendar.freebusy permission), so we do not offer meeting times when that person is unavailable. We do not see the title, guests or content of their events.
- Creating and reading events on the team's shared calendar (calendar.events and calendar.readonly permissions, only on the account that organizes that calendar), to record meetings booked from this site, with their Google Meet link, and show the team's schedule inside the tool.
Data obtained from Google APIs is used only for those functions, is not transferred to third parties (except as needed to provide them or as required by law), is not used for advertising and, beyond what the tool shows the team, nobody reads it except for support or security reasons. The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Each member can disconnect their personal calendar from the tool at any time, which revokes the permission in Google and deletes the stored access.
Security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS), the internal tools are only accessible to the team and access to Google accounts is stored encrypted.
Changes
If we change this policy, we publish the new version here with its effective date.
